Once again, I am asking Ward 3 voters for their support in the upcoming municipal election. It is a unique ward that encompasses both urban and rural needs.

Much has been accomplished during the past eight years. Roads — much badly needed reconstruction including Simcoe Road, Canal Road and associated bridges. Upgrades to rural lines and sideroads are happening.

Still needed are upgrades to interior gravel roads and a proper access to the Holland Marsh from Yonge Street.

I have served seven terms and always tried to be a team player with an independent voice.

I am accountable to taxpayers. I have a good understanding of municipal finances.

We need to judiciously continue to invest in infrastructure, fire protection, parks, traffic safety, as well as all of the other things that affect the residents. We also need to protect the right to farm to grow our food and protect our environment by following the rules.

My background includes attending Bradford District High School, York University, serving on many committees, volunteering, a family man, and marsh grown.

I am a member of the BWG Public Library Board, Museum of the Boyne, and I was a member of the Holland Marsh Board during the previous term.
This past term, council has been positive. I look forward to serving you again.

Internet and phone voting. There will be voting at the library as well for the week of Oct. 13-22.

Vote Gary Lamb.

Ward 3 candidates: Gary Lamb, Bruce J. Davis, Shah Malik, and Marion Fischer. After repeated requests by BradfordToday, Shah Malik did not submit a biography or photo.
