Rick Turner was born and raised on Collings Avenue in Bradford West Gwillimbury, and he attended Bradford Public School in the 1980s.

Rick attended Ryerson University and obtained his bachelor of commerce in 2003.

After living in Toronto for several years, Rick and his wife, Andrea, decided it was time to move and chose Bradford as a place to settle and raise their young family because of its reputation as a safe and growing community.

Since moving to Ward 4 in 2016, Rick and his family have enjoyed getting to know many residents and have immersed themselves in everything that Bradford has to offer — from its great parks and splash pads, to its fantastic library, leisure complex, and local businesses.

Rick is excited to bring to Bradford town council his experiences from sitting on a variety of boards over the years.

Given his experience in sales and marketing for more than 15 years and currently holding a director position, Rick will bring a fresh, fiscally-responsible approach at guiding the policies that affect the individuals and families in Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Ward 4.
