Inspired the frontline workers at Southlake, Innovatex Solutions Inc., a promotional products company in Richmond Hill, is selling T-shirts and hoodies emblazoned with pandemic phrases like Together We Got This, Apart But Together, and If you can read this you are closer than 2 metres. Tribute shirts to nurses and doctors read Commitment, Sacrifice & Courage.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each shirt — $25 for T-shirts and $62 for hoodies — will go to Southlake's COVID-19 Action Fund, which supports the purchase of medical equipment and PPE to keep frontline workers safe.
As promotional product distributors, Innovatex president Ann Baiden said she knows well the recognition that products can garner with the correct messaging.
“We felt these shirts would be like walking billboards that could bring our community together,” Baiden said.
Innovatex Solutions hopes to be able to donate a large sum of money from the sale of the shirts through its #InnovatexTogether social media campaign, she added.
“We truly respect and appreciate the frontline workers and what they are doing to keep us safe and well. Nothing makes us happier than to be able to give back to an organization that has personally touched each member of my staff,” Baiden said.
