Just over a week to go until the ‘Bowling For Daleyn’ fundraiser in support of local teen Daleyn MacIsaac. The teen was recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and is currently receiving dialysis treatments at Sick Kids Hospital five days a week.
The event is being held on Saturday Dec.7 at 5:30 p.m. at Bradford Underground Bowl. Local mothers and event organizers, Cassidy Hilliard and Rosi Martin are currently looking for monetary donations to help them create themed gift baskets for the silent auction and raffle.
There are 18 tickets still available. The price for one ticket is $30 and includes three rounds of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and popcorn. There will be balloon twists, a bubble show, air brush tattoos and unicorn and My Little Pony mascots - all courtesy of Daleyn's mother, Minerva and her entertainment business, Minvera's Creations.
