The Bradford Barn hosted an open house over the weekend, giving guests the opportunity to check out the venue, and have some food and drink while dancing the night away.
The two-storey heritage barn located at 3287 Ninth Line, beside Henderson Park, is a unique wedding and event venue with picturesque countryside views providing a romantic, quaint atmosphere. Outside is a rustic wooden gazebo and bar area, as well as a cozy firepit with benches around it to sit on.
The purpose of the event was to bring the community together to showcase what the local venue has to offer in terms of event services. Now that most COVID restrictions have been lifted, venues like the Bradford Barn are able to host events and gatherings more easily.
Pop-rock cover band Table 69 had guests up on their feet playing hits from all the decades. There was no time to sit down with the DJ taking over in between sets. Outside, local entrepreneurs and business partners, Andy Karistinos and Lawrence Hou cooked up a storm on their smoker serving pulled pork and pasta salad. The pair run their catering company under the umbrella of their business, Popi's Flowers, based out of Bradford, serving clients all over the area.
