Bradford Legion donates $3K to WOW Living

The Legion decided to split the funds left over from their charity pot between WOW Living and the food bank

Local charity WOW Living recently got a $3,000 boost thanks to the generosity of the Bradford Legion.

Jodi Greenstreet of WOW Living in Bradford which runs the Out of the Cold Cafe, The Guest House and a multitude of other community initiatives and programs for those in need, stopped by the Bradford Legion branch on Friday to accept the $3,000 cheque from Bradford Legion President Tammy Paglia and Secretary Wendy Hollingshead.

The funds come from previous fundraising events held at the Bradford Legion. The Legion voted to split their pot between WOW Living and The Helping Hand Food Bank.

"Thank you very much,  we really appreciate it," said Greenstreet.

Greenstreet says the funds will be put to good use for the Out of the Cold Cafe's Christmas dinner and festivities.
