The members of SWAN (Successful Women Always Networking) group are hosting a virtual 'Celebration of Women' event next week in support of the LOFT Bradford House.

The community event will feature presentations by SWAN members Shari Goss, Independent Norwex Consultant and Amber May-Smith, of Drive-True Automotive.

Goss who has suffered from anxiety her entire life will be discussing the issue, and the ability to recognize your fears.

Smith will be speaking on how women can be stronger driving forces of change within the community. Smith is the previous SWAN president, and the BNI Bradford Chapter. She has a long history of philanthropy in the community and surrounding areas.

This will be the first virtual event hosted by the SWAN group, who are excited to reach out to the community and engage with women who may be struggling during COVID.

The event is free, but SWAN will be accepting donations with proceeds going toward LOFT: Bradford House on Barrie Street.

The event takes place Monday, March 8 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
