South Simcoe Police have seized a radar detector from an 18-year-old Gilford man.
One of the police officers spotted the detector in the man's vehicle in Bradford Friday afternoon before having it confiscated.
Police remind radar detector devices are illegal in Ontario and if caught with one, result in automatic seizure of the device, a $170 fine and three demerit points.
