The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign launched across the country in September in support of local charities.

For the past five years the four restuarant locations in Bradford, owned by brothers Perry and Jack Thornton, have been donating the proceeds to the Community & Home Assistance to Seniors (CHATS) organization.

On Wednesday afternoon, Perry was pleased to present the cheque of $10,470.25 to CHATS representatives, Rhonda Flanagan, Director of Development, Marketing and Communications and Chief Executive Officer, Christina Bisanz. Mayor Rob Keffer and Councillors Gary Baynes and Peter Ferragine were also present to show their support of the campaign.

The money raised goes toward the company's wheelchair van which helps get seniors in town get to and from medical appointments.

"We are very grateful," said Flanagan.
