It's graduation season, and unfortunately for many graduating students, due to COVID-19 and physical distancing measures, they won't be celebrating together as originally planned at their year end ceremonies.
Many schools are opting for online virtual events to commemorate their milestones and achievements. Naturally, most students are disappointed they won't be able to celebrate and share in the moment with their classmates, together in-person.
Bradford business owners, Jennifer Feeney of Jen Feeney Events and Gabriela Aroca of Instaselfie Booth know just how much students were looking forward to their special year-end events, and wanted to do something to help make 2020 a memorable year for them.
Together they have come up with the Contactless 2020 Graduation PhotoBooth Giveaway.
"I was getting so many messages about grad options, this is what materialized," said Feeney. "I'm trying to do what I can to help grads do something special."
One lucky school will win a free contactless mirror booth session with Instaselfie Booth, with a luxury organic balloon backdrop from Jen Feeney Event for their entire graduating class.
The booth will be a contactless experience, controlled remotely by a booth assistant. Only one person will be allowed in the booth at any given time, and the space will be cleared before a new person enters.
It is encouraged each graduate dress to impress, and bring their own props. Once the photos are taken, the booth will send a digital copy of the photograph via email or text, and grads will have access to an online gallery for the entire school's session.
Students can enter the contest on Instagram, and if selected, will win the experience for their entire school for Sunday May 16. The contest is open to anyone, but participants must be willing to travel to the set up location in Bradford. The contest closes Monday May 11 at 8 p.m.
On Sunday May 17, the women will open up use of the Ultimate Contactless Graduation PhotoBooth to all graduates. Cost will be $20 per person. To enter the contest and check future available booking dates, follow @jenfeeneyevents and @instaselfiebooth on Instagram.
