SATURDAY, JULY 20

Bradford Farmers’ Market

8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

BWG Public Library, 425 Holland St. W., Bradford

Enjoy live music, meet local community groups, and find produce from the Holland Marsh and beyond, including plants, flowers and herbs, honey, dairy products, maple syrup, cured meats, free-run eggs, baking, preserves, as well as a wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, and handmade arts and crafts.

Alliston Farmers’ Market

8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

51 Victoria St. E., Alliston

You will find warm, out-of-the-oven baked goodies, jams, jellies, honey, syrups, crafts, plants, local potato chips, meats from local farmers and, of course, fruits and veggies. Come enjoy some good food, meet new friends, and have fun.

Barrie Thunder Classics car show

8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Heritage Park, 5 Simcoe St. (Lakeshore Drive area), Barrie

Admission is free, but it costs $10 to enter a classic vehicle into the show.

Alliston legion garage sale

8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Alliston legion, 111 Dufferin St. S., Alliston

Will include a bake sale, and a butterfly release at 1 p.m.

Innisfil Mobile Youth Centre

10 a.m. to noon

Friday Harbour Resort, 311 Big Bay Point Rd., Innisfil

Kids can hop on a skateboard or scooter and try some tricks at the mobile skate park, along with plenty of other fun activities for the family to enjoy!

Birds of Prey

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wild Birds Unlimited Barrie, 515 Bryne Dr., Unit B, Barrie

Free, all-ages event.

Join us for The Hawks and Falcons of Simcoe County. This drop-in event will feature live birds local to the Simcoe County area. Meet the handlers and learn about birds of prey and the stories of these rehab/education animals.

Grand opening: Art Studio Tattoos Bradford

10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

27 Holland St. E., Bradford

Please join owners Guy and Ana Abergel for the grant opening of their new store. Ribbon cutting with Mayor Rob Keffer will take place at 10:45 a.m.

Plant and insect exploration

10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Meet a local naturalist from Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre at the Harbour Master Building at Friday Harbour and head out on an adventure identifying native plant and insect species. All are welcome to attend this event.

Orillia Scottish Festival

This is a wonderful family event! The beer tent, vendors, children’s area, entertainment and tug of war are a taste of what you will find at the Saturday festivities. Detailed schedules will be available on festival weekend.

Segway tours

Cost is $80

Join Segways of Ontario for a truly unique way of exploring Friday Harbour. Meet your guide on the west side of the boardwalk (in front of FH Fit) to set out across the resort, taking in the beautiful views and everything the resort has to offer.
