In 2022, the Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development Board and Literacy Network amalgamated to deliver training and workforce development needs to Simcoe Muskoka in an effective, unified, and fiscally responsible way. This dynamic partnership agreed their collective organization needed a re-branding designed to reflect both organizations collectively in a simplified way with a shorter, condensed title and fresh new brand. Introducing: Simcoe Muskoka Skillforce.

Skillforce is the new identity and brand for the Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development and Literacy Network organization, and is the start of an exciting new chapter, collectively working to develop and deliver training and essential skills development for the Simcoe County and Muskoka communities. Along with the re-brand, stakeholders can visit the new, easy-to-use website and related social media channels on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook – designed to make local labour market information, trends and resources simple and effortless to access.
