2 Innisfil residents facing impaired charges in separate incidents

The following impaired driving charges were laid by the South Simcoe Police Service:

On Monday, March 14, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver in the area of Dissette Street and Bridge Street in Bradford. As a result of the investigation, 36-year-old Nicole Graham of Innisfil was charged with Operation While Impaired and Operation While Impaired - Excess Blood Alcohol. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.

On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at approximately 6:10 a.m., police responded to a report of two-vehicle collision in the area of Killarney Beach Road and Yonge Street in Innisfil involving a suspected impaired driver.  No one was injured. As a result of the investigation 58-year-old Mikko Pyykkonen of Innisfil was charged with Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired - Excess Blood Alcohol and Dangerous Operation.  His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
