A man has been arrested after a wallet was stolen Friday at the Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre.

At about 9:15 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a parking lot on Holland Street West, where a man told them his wallet had been stolen earlier in the evening from a locker at the Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre.

He said he had noticed “unknown transactions” being made at a nearby store, so he crossed the street to look for the suspect. When police arrived, they found the two men and arrested the suspect.

Christopher Blais, 43, of Bradford, has been charged with seven counts of using a credit card obtained by crime. He was released from custody and is set to appear in court at a later date.
