Bradford cyclist struck by vehicle, injured Sunday night: Police

Chesley, Ont. man, 73, faces several charges, including careless driving causing bodily harm

A Bradford man sustained non-life-threatening injuries following a crash between a bicycle and a motorized vehicle Sunday night. 

South Simcoe police responded to a report of the collision, which occurred at the Canal Road and Bridge Street intersection in Bradford Jan. 28 at about 7:30 p.m. Officers allege a 38-year-old cyclist was struck by the vehicle and needed to be transported to hospital. 

As a result of an investigation, a 73-year-old Chesley, Ont. man was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm, care or control of a vehicle with cannabis in open, original packaging, and drive vehicle with cannabis readily available.
