Bradford man charged with impaired driving

Police say the vehicle was located in a driveway and the driver was arrested

On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at approximately 7:16 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were dispatched to the area of West Park Avenue and Holland Street West for a report of an erratic driver. The vehicle was located in a nearby driveway and the driver was arrested for impaired operation. 

As a result of the investigation, 25-year-old Keyter Kuzhangaira of Bradford was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired - excess blood alcohol, and dangerous operation.

His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

We are grateful to the citizens who called us to report these incidents. Our roads are safer when we work together. Two drivers charged with impaired driving within an hour of each other is very distressing and disappointing. Please make better choices for your safety and the safety of other motorists and pedestrians. Drive sober or don't drive.
 
On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to 83 calls for service.
