TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ADJALA-TOSORONTIO & ESSA TOWNSHIPS — Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision in Alliston on King Street at Young Street.
On Feb. 7, 2022 at approximately 8 p.m., police attended the scene of a collision involving two vehicles. On arrival police were advised that one driver had left the scene.
Paramedics attended and assessed the other driver who was not required to be transported.
Through further investigation, the other driver was located and charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following:
- Careless driving
- Fail to remain
- Fail to report
- Drive motor vehicle - no licence
The driver is scheduled to attend the Barrie Provincial Offences Court on Mar. 16, 2022.
