Crash leads to impaired driving charges in Bradford

On Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at approximately 6:20 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck a parked car in the area of Colborne Street and Line 8 in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

There were no injuries. As a result of an investigation, 56-year-old Gregory Stacey of Bradford was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired (excess blood alcohol). His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

One hundred per cent of impaired driving incidents are preventable and not worth the risk. Make good choices and do your part for road safety. Impaired driving is a crime in progress.
