On Tuesday, Nov.. 30, 2021, at approximately 11:20 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a call from a citizen regarding a driver sleeping behind the wheel of a running vehicle parked in a parking lot on Bridge Street in Bradford. When officers arrived, the driver was arrested.
As a result of the investigation, 75-year-old John Jones of no fixed address was charged with operation while impaired - excess blood alcohol. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
