Erratic driving leads to impaired charges for Toronto driver

Police were responding to report of an unwanted person when they observed a vehicle driving erratically from the scene

On Saturday, April 24, 2021 at approximately 4:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to an address in the Fletcher Street and Barrie Street area of Bradford for a report of an unwanted guest. Upon arrival, police observed a vehicle driving away erratically from the scene. Officers located the vehicle nearby pulled over to the side of the road. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to South Division.

As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Aaronisha Murray of Toronto was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – excess blood alcohol.

Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days. Her passenger, 26-year-old Jadee Bachelor Thompson of Toronto, was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
