Fatal ATV crash in Innisfil under investigation

The South Simcoe Police Service is appealing for witnesses following a fatal ATV collision in Innisfil.

On Sunday, April 17, 2022 at approximately 2:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Killarney Beach Road and Elizabeth Avenue where an ATV had collided with a hydro pole. The male driver was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. He has been identified as a 53-year-old Innisfil resident.

The Traffic Unit attended the scene for collision reconstruction and is appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone with information regarding the collision or security/dash cam video is asked to contact Constable Jessica Irwin at 705-436-2141, 905-775-3311, ext. 2030, or [email protected].
