TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ADJALA-TOSORONTIO AND ESSA TOWNSHIPS - Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary members had a successful Sunday food drive in Alliston, New Tecumseth.
On Sunday, April 10, 2022 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary Unit held a food drive in preparation for the Easter holidays in Alliston, New Tecumseth.
Auxiliary members were located outside at the front entrance of Zehrs, located at 30 King St. S. They collected non-perishable food items and cash donations, which have been donated to our community at The Good Sheppard Food Bank.
Due to the overwhelming support and generosity of our community, the Auxiliary Unit was able to deliver over 450 pounds of food and over $750 in cash donations. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success!
