One suffers serious injuries in single-vehicle crash

Police say both occupants were transported to a local hospital via ambulance and one was then transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre with serious, but not life-threatening injuries

TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ADJALA-TOSORONTIO & ESSA TOWNSHIPS — Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious single-vehicle collision yesterday afternoon. 

On Feb. 15, 2022 approximately 2 p.m. police responded to County Road 13 of Adjala-Tosorontio for a serious collision. On scene, police along with Simcoe County paramedics began immediately assisting two occupants of a passenger vehicle.

Both were transported to a local hospital via ambulance and one was then transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene yesterday to assist with the investigation. The road was re-opened shortly before 9 p.m. last night.

No charges have been laid at this time as the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause. More details to come as they become available.
