Pedestrian struck downtown in critical condition

The 64-year-old man was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a vehicle conducting a left-hand turn, according to police

South Simcoe Police Service officers are investigating after a pedestrian was struck in Bradford.

On Monday, June 15, 2020, around 1:30 p.m., police responded to a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Holland Street West and Barrie Street.

A 64-year-old Bradford man was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by vehicle conducting a left-hand turn.

He was taken to a local hospital by County of Simcoe Paramedics and then transported to a Toronto trauma centre where he is listed in critical condition. The driver remained at the scene.
