The South Simcoe Police Service is investigating multiple reports of thefts from vehicles that occurred overnight.
On Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, police received four reports of vehicles entered overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning and items stolen in the area of Webster Boulevard, Benson Street, Tomkins Road and Nevils Street subdivision in the Town of Innisfil.
Officers are also investigating a report of a theft from a vehicle in the Noble Drive and Breeze Drive area in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Items stolen include wallets, passports, documents, tablets and cash.
Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has security camera or dash camera footage is asked to contact the South Simcoe Police Service at 705-436-2141, 905-775-3311, or contact Crime Stoppers.
Vehicle entries can happen anywhere, including your driveway. Reduce the risk of these thefts by always removing valuables and locking your vehicle. These simple steps can help to protect your property. Call police immediately if you see suspicious people or vehicles in your neighbourhood.
