Police investigating theft at Tanger Outlets in Cookstown

South Simcoe Police Service officers are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect following a theft at Tanger Outlets in Cookstown.

The grab and run theft occurred on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 6:55 p.m. at a jewelry store in the mall.  A male suspect asked to examine a gold chain and then ran from the store with the jewelry, making no attempt to pay.

Police are releasing security camera video and still photos in an effort to identify the suspect.
