The South Simcoe Police Service laid three impaired driving-related charges in three days.

At about 3:25 p.m. Jan. 27, police stopped a vehicle near Gilford Road and Beach Avenue in Innisfil. A 37-year-old Barrie resident was charged with operation while impaired (excess blood-alcohol).

On Jan. 27 at about midnight, police were called about a suspected impaired driver in the area of Holland Street West in Bradford. The 44-year-old driver was charged with failure or refusal to comply with a demand.

Police noted failing or refusing to provide a breath sample carries the same penalties as having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Jan. 29, the report of an erratic driver on Innisfil Beach Road led police to charge a 26-year-old Campbellville resident with operation while impaired (excess blood-alcohol).
