South Simcoe Police Services seeking driver who struck hydro box in Bradford

The vehicle jumped the curb, and went through a front lawn without stopping

The South Simcoe Police Service is appealing for the public's help in a property damage investigation in Bradford.

On Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, at approximately 3:15 p.m., police responded to the Cousteau Drive and Summerlyn Trail area. A caller reported a vehicle had mounted the curb, drove onto a front yard and struck a hydro box on the lawn before leaving the scene without stopping.  A child was playing on the front lawn at the time. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

The driver of the vehicle is believed to be a white male, approximately 17-years-old, with a slim build, curly brown hair, wearing a baseball cap and a light coloured shirt.

Police are releasing security camera images of the vehicle in an effort to locate the vehicle and identify the driver.
