Survey says: Most people feel safe, are satisfied with OPP

A survey conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police in early 2022 is reporting a satisfaction by respondents for the quality of services provided by the OPP.

The survey, which was conducted between Jan. 12 and March 16, 2022, shows that 95.5 per cent of respondents felt "satisfied" or "very satisfied."

Additionally, the survey showed that 77.8 per cent of respondents felt "safe" or "very safe" in their communities.

The survey was conducted to measure public opinion about the services provided by the OPP. It included questions on public perception of OPP policing, handling of crime, marine, and ATV patrols, highway safety, traffic enforcement, and response to major occurrences.
