2 men charged in Bradford Walmart theft investigation

On Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service was called regarding a theft in progress at the Walmart on Holland Street West in Bradford.  A Loss Prevention officer had observed two men hiding items in a large bag. Police arrived on scene and the suspects exited through a fire exit door.  A short foot pursuit ensued and the suspects were arrested without incident.

As a result of the investigation, two Brampton men, 21-year-old Guaravdeep Singh and 29-year-old Rohit Bhanot, were charged with Theft and Possession of Stolen Goods.  They were released with a future court date.
