Two people charged with impaired driving in Bradford, Innisfil

South Simcoe police wrapped up 2023 by charging two people with impaired driving-related offences.

On Saturday at about 2 a.m., an officer clocked a vehicle being driven 95 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Bridge Street in Bradford.

A 27-year-old Innisfil man was charged with stunt driving, speeding, operating a motor vehicle with no insurance, operation while impaired and operation while impaired (excess blood-alcohol). His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.

On Sunday at about 7:30 p.m., an officer conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Yonge Street and Line 3 in Innisfil.

A 35-year-old Petersburg man was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired (excess blood-alcohol). His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
