Autumn Leaves and Pumpkins, Please! Join us at Pumpkin Fest.

Leaves are falling, the air is getting cooler and Pumpkin Fest will ‘leaf’ you loving fall even more!  The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is hosting the seventh annual Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, October 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Henderson Memorial Park located on Line 9 just west of Sideroad 10. 

Pumpkin Fest is an all-ages event that includes live on-stage music, busker performances, wagon rides, pumpkin carving (one per child, while supplies last) and the Bradford Farmers’ Market. All activities are free, including an inflatable corn maze, mini-golf and other games, as well as face painting and a caricature artist. The main stage will feature local band ‘Kurtis + The Crosswinds’, along with kid-friendly entertainment and music from Team T & J and Russ Clayton and the Fitness Dri-Tri (ride, reps, run challenge – pre-registration required). Special guests include BWG Fire & Emergency Services, who will be providing public education and a visit from the fire truck. 

Enjoy food for sale, including a fundraising BBQ by the Bradford Lions, as well as food, drinks and sweets for sale by local Bradford businesses: Sweet B’s, Hay Carumba, Holland Marsh Food Market, Jo’s Juice Jazz, Mister Treats, and Ms Richies Kitchen. The Bradford Farmers’ Market will be extending its schedule by one week in order to bring its vendors to Henderson Memorial Park for Pumpkin Fest.

Parking on site is limited. Overflow parking is available at:

  • Henderson Field - 3200 Sideroad 10 (with a walking path to Henderson Memorial Park) 
  • Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre – 125 Simcoe (shuttle bus service will be offered free of charge provided by Voyago and BWG Transit) 

BWG Public Transit is available on Saturday, October 14 (click HERE for transit routes and schedules). Fees apply. Riders can transfer from the Holland St/Simcoe Rd Stop and take the shuttle to the event. 

Non-perishable food items will be collected for the Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank. They are in need of the following items: peanut butter, juice & juice boxes, canned tuna & salmon, breakfast cereal, canned soups & stews, pasta & pasta sauce.

Simcoe Muskoka Family Connections will also be running their Halloween for Teens drive where they collect high need items for teenagers for the holiday season such as: gift cards (fast food, clothing, electronics, and video games), art supplies, and sports equipment. All items must be in brand new condition.
