Notice of the Adoption of an Official Plan Amendment and Passing of a Zoning By-law

Take notice that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury passed By-law 2022-98 to adopt Amendment No. 32 to the Official Plan for the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, and passed By-law 2022-97 to amend the Town’s Zoning By-law on the 4th day of October, 2022 under sections 17, 22 and 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, in respect of lands municipally known as 3999 Sideroad 10.  A key map showing the location of the lands is attached to this notice.

The purpose of the proposed Official Plan Amendment is to re-designate the subject property from "Agricultural" to "Special Policy Area 7.2.10" to permit a cemetery and accessory uses including a multi-purpose place of assembly building, funeral supplies building, equipment storage building, caretaker residence and an existing place of worship.
