Share ideas with the Library and earn volunteer hours

Fall sessions of the Teen Advisory Group start October 13
PH-TAG

The Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library is always looking for teens who have an interest in making the library and community a better place and a willingness to share ideas. In fact, teens are often the catalysts for change in building and shaping the world around them.

The library has a perfect way to engage teenagers who wish to make an impact – and they can even earn volunteer hours while they are at it. The long-awaited Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is coming back, and those ages 13-18 are encouraged to sign up!

TAG helps make the library a great place for teens, as they will be engaged in planning programs, events, and reaching out to Bradford’s community. TAG members will have the opportunity to gain skills in leadership, teamwork, creative problem solving, event planning, and much more simply through joining the program.

The Teen Advisory Group will start sessions virtually on October 13 at 3:30 pm and run weekly. Click here to register.

Overall, TAG is an excellent, gratifying and enjoyable way to make a difference, and it is a superb way for Bradford teens to show how wonderful they are!
