From 2017-2020, Next Chapter Café was a weekly program for older adults where we played brain and board games, laughed and enjoyed coffee, tea and each other’s company. When the Library closed in March 2020 and we could no longer meet, we moved our puzzles and brain games to an email format and kept ourselves challenged several times a week.
When the Library started to re-introduce in-person programming this fall, we met for a few weeks. However, we are aware that not everyone is ready to return to in-person events and we have decided to transition our informal thrice-weekly email into a formal weekly newsletter and make it available to everyone – and thus Next Chapter Newsletter was born!
The Next Chapter Newsletter features puzzles and brain games but also includes BWG Library information, book recommendations and fun facts. Intended for an older audience, the Next Chapter Newsletter will be of interest to curious individuals of any age who like a challenge.
